Hey babes, remember when I told you all about my Bread&Butter plans here and here? Well, last Friday I took the first plane to Berlin and I was ready for the ultimate Fashion adventure with Zalando!
My home for the weekend was the amazing Zalando Summerhouse were I stayed with fellow blogger Charlotte and about 20 other bloggers/ influencers and editors from all over Europe. After a short introduction and who’s who we had the most delicious lunch in the Rose Garden brunch spot next to the house. After fuelling up we were ready to hit the Bread&Butter event. We discovered the different booths which each offered a different and unique experience to the visitors. Customising your denim at the Levi’s tailor shop, watching the Lee dance performance or designing your own t-shirt at Minimum were only a few from the many fun things to do. My personal highlight of the evening was a meet & greet with Gigi Hadid at the Tommy Hilfiger booth. Not only is Gigi one of the most gorgeous women on earth, she’s also the creative brain behind this unique collab. We closed off this first amazing day with a live performance of Asap Rocky and boy, I was a fangirl at the end of that night!
After a short night of sleep, we were ready for day two! After breakfast in the Rose Garden, we had the privilege to have our hair and make-up done by Maybelline on the top floor of our hotel. Oh, could I have this everyday please? 🙂 After being all glammed up, we were ready to discover Berlin Mitte with our personal guide who showed us all the secret places and hotspots. I’ve already been in Berlin a few times but I discovered some amazing new places! After this, we quickly went back to our hotel to fresh up for a rooftop dinner, including burgers and cocktails, with the entire gang.
On Sunday we woke up for yet another great (and healthy!) breakfast, got our hair and MU done again and took off in the city, fully dressed in the Zalando A/W collection for a streetstyle shoot with talented photographer The Styleograph. the weather was quite unfortunate (after 2 days of 27 degree weather) but the result looks pretty amazing. And that umbrella is kinda cute, no? 😉 After the shoot, we took off to the Bread&Butter venue, where we had dinner in the press area before watching the Zalando fashion show. And then somehow that fall/winter wishlist only got bigger… As the ultimate closure of a pretty epic weekend, we enjoyed the afterparty with the entire group, did a little after-after party on the bus on our way home and said our goodbyes to everyone.
Thanks for everything Zalando, I had a blast!
